Social Lubrication

Private Space: a live video performance and interactive installation was the first performance by the Social Lubrication user group. Social Lubrication is a user group for Multi-media performers and Audio Visual Installation Artists interested in technology and science. The user group will stimulate conversation on the use of science and technology in art. The users will map the future of multi media performance and sculpt future Social Lubrication performances and interactive installations. Social Lubrication is open source multi media performance.

Social Lubrication will use the promo video from Private Space to gain further support for future art installations and entertainment events. The goal of Social Lubrication is to become a seminal entertainment group, highlighting art installations in collaboration with the worlds best media labs* and ground braking artists. We want to create a dialog that enriches the so-called “third culture,” and bridges the gap between science and the arts. The collaborative will be a fusion of artistry spanning antiquity, cyberspace and scientific advancement. It is the right time for such entertainment to take off.
